The Centre for Living Technologies of the EWUU Alliance invites you to the SANDPIT EVENT on “Synthetic microbial communities: Novel avenues for biobased processes?”. Together with you, we hope to make this event a platform to pitch ideas, brainstorm, and spark inter-and transdisciplinary collaborations. The aim is to identify key players at our institutions to drive further synthetic microbial co-cultivation, considering a design-build-test-learn approach. Views on applications of synthetic co-cultures, including societal aspects, are also welcome.

The event is divided into two parts, on two different days:

Session 1 – March 17, 2022 (14.00 – 17.00) – ONLINE

Session 2 – April 12, 2022 (10.00 – 17.00) – Alliance Office, Vening Meinesz building C, Princetonlaan 6, Utrecht (Session 2: Restricted to participants of session 1)
