Eva Baum is a facility technician in the department of Cell Biology, Neurobiology and Biophysics at Utrecht University. Her work is centered on nanobody generation and aims at establishing novel nanobody engineering technologies for the isolation of nanobodies against targets relevant for imaging or other purposes. Eva graduated with a BSc in Biotechnology from the University of Applied Sciences Darmstadt, Germany and a MSc in Biomolecular Engineering from the Technical University of Darmstadt. Her research interests include antibody engineering, molecular targeted and immunotherapies, as well as molecular biology. Outside of the lab, Eva spends most of her time playing guitar, hiking, running or traveling.
